Blue Cab is pleased to provide taxi
service for the Ann Arbor Transportation Authority's Night
Ride program. Night Ride is a late night, shared ride taxi service
which complements the AATA's
other transportation services by providing affordable transportation
late at night and on major holidays. All night ride trips must
be scheduled by phone reservation. To book a trip, simply call
the Night Ride service phone number: 734-528-5432. Our
taxis are not permitted to provide Night Ride service to passengers
who attempt to flag down a vehicle.
HOURS OF OPERATION for Night Ride are as follows:
Monday - Friday: 11:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m.
Saturday and Sunday: 7:00 p.m. - 7:30 a.m.
Night Ride operates much like regular cab service with these important
differences:
- The fare is $5.00 per person, regardless of the
length of the trip.
- All trips must pick up and drop off within the
city limits of Ann Arbor. No stops or exceptions are permitted.
- Night Ride is a shared ride service. The cab
may pick up and/or drop off other passengers during your trip
while you are in the cab.
- It is recommended that you allow at least an
hour to complete your trip. The average trip takes about 45
minutes from when your order is placed.
- You may carry and take with you only what you
can hold on your lap, except for wheelchairs and walkers.
- Service for wheelchair users is provided with
a lift equipped van.
